Biography: Dr. Nawal El Boghdady is Co-Founder and CTO at Nexus Analytica, which utilizes energy data analytics, machine learning, and AI, in addition to energy systems modeling and simulation, to inform both the private and public sector’s business decisions. She is also an Assistant Professor of Engineering at Egypt University of Informatics. Her work focuses on utilizing AI and machine learning models for predictive and maintenance analytics of renewable energy systems, demand-side management, and higher energy efficiency. She holds an MSc from ETH Zürich, and a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen.
